It is often mentioned that Generation Z is having less sex. However, data from the United States shows that, overall, people today are having sex less frequently than they were thirty years ago. This is true for people in their 20s, in their 40s, and in their 60s. The percentage of people who have sex at least once a month has decreased by 8 percentage points since the early 1990s. Turns out, we’re all too busy for sex these days—guess streaming shows and scrolling have become the new foreplay!
